Delivering the Divine: Dosing and Administration of Short-Acting Tryptamines

DMT (N,N-dimethyltryptamine) and 5-MeO-DMT (5-methoxy,N,N-dimethyltryptamine) are two short-acting tryptamine psychedelics that are gaining increasing attention as agents with therapeutic potential. They are both notorious for intense ‘breakthrough’ or ‘full-release’ experiences and are usually used via inhaled or parenteral routes of administration. However, the subjective qualities of effects as well as aspects of their pharmacology are distinct. In this webinar the pharmacologic properties of each agent will be introduced and contrasted with the other before discussing dosing approaches, delivery devices, and routes of administration for these two powerful and awe-inspiring molecules.
