Casita at Casa de Espiritu Now Available 

It's been about six months since I last made an update on how things are going down here in Costa Rica with the development of my latest project or 'Casa de Espiritu'. Since then, I've been working diligently on the next phases of this project's development and although there's still a ton to do and we're a ways off from a 'full launch', I'm also in a place where I feel I'm ready to begin the earliest stages of opening it to special guests that want to come and stay. 

I also wanted to take a moment to share more about where this project is headed as well as the larger dream and vision I have for it. 

About Casa de Espiritu

I named my place Casa de Espiritu or ‘House from Spirit’ in acknowledgement of the immense gratitude I have in being able to attain a raw piece of land and transform it into a home that I can share. It’s also a direct tribute to the major contributions that my Psychopharmacology Consulting and Education practice at Spirit Pharmacist LLC made in manifesting the dream into reality.  Casa de Espiritu is located in the Los Pargos or Playa Negra area in Guanacaste. It sits around 2km from the Pacific Ocean, 90 min from the Liberia International Airport, and 35 min from Tamarindo.

I estimate that I'm really still a year or few away from truly being able to take this vision into full swing, and I'm also ready to begin hosting a person or few in the detached guest home or 'casita' right now! This is truly a unique opportunity to experience Guanacaste, get in on the ground floor of this project, and make a friendly and personal connection with me.

The Casita is a brand new~56m2, 1-bedroom detached guesthouse. It features a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, dining nook, and work/desk area. Large bedroom with a comfortable king bed, TV, and love sofa. Bathroom with hot/cold water from overhead rain shower. Wi-Fi, A/C, fans, and ice machine. As far as standards of accommodation goes in Costa Rica this is quite luxurious! If our dates align then next steps will be to arrange a short meet and greet call where we can build some rapport and I can answer any questions about the place, stays, or Costa Rica generally. I'm hand picking persons for this as it's also my private residence and believe this step will be integral to ensuring clarity on the stay and making sure we're a good fit overall.

The Bigger Vision, Mission and Motivation

I’ve will continue to dedicate myself deeply to being the guiding force of Spirit Pharmacist. I love and believe in the power of pharmacy, especially the niche I’ve created in psychedelic pharmacy. I also love and believe in the power of nature, gardens, and community. It’s a sore spot that has been missing in my life through graduate studies and the beginnings of my career. It feels integral to my path to have my hands in both, professionally and personally now.

I want to develop Casa de Espiritu into a place that offers ‘Homestay Retreats' for groups of 6-10 to come for 5-10 days. My dream are for these retreats to be co-created experiences with other guests, myself, and persons I've met through Spirit Pharmacist. These retreats will be designed for the conscious traveler looking for a humble yet comfortable stay, hoping for community-, skill-, and fun oriented experiences that ultimately fosters personal and collective enrichment. I’ve already taken considerable strides towards this and also have much to do!

It's truly exciting to be able to start forging deeper connections with the audience that I've built here at Spirit Pharmacist and whether it's in the next few months or farther down the road, I hope that you can come and experience the magic of what I've been building here in Costa Rica.
